As part of the Customer Happiness Hero Team, Alma helps customers via phone, chat, and email.

Alma was a health care administrator before joining the ProTrainings Team. She loves to hike and enjoys spending time with her family when she's not working.

ANDREA KONSOER

Group Solutions Consultant

As part of the Group Solutions Team, Andrea supports groups who use our training and consults with prospective administrators to create solutions for their health and safety training needs.

She graduated from Indiana University with an MFA in Acting and has performed professionally in the Detroit area.Besides the arts, she enjoys traveling, good restaurants, binge Netflix watching, and spending time with her children and husband.

BARB ANDERSEN

Office Manager

Barb is runs the ProTrainings' Office and does the bookkeeping. She started her career in mortgage service for a savings and loan, then started her most rewarding career as a stay-at-home mom and school volunteer. Barb loves spending time with family and friends.

CARA ARMOUR

Cara's life-long love of pets turned into a dream career in 2003 with her husband Gerard Armour. They had met that same year at a dog park. Together they created Active Paws Inc., a professional pet care business based in the greater Boston, MA area. In 2009, she was awarded Pet Sitter of the Year, the industry’s highest honor awarded by Pet Sitters International. In that same year the company was awarded the Angie’s List Super Service Award, in 2011 the Tails Reader’s choice award, and in 2013, the Angie’s List Super Service Award again. Active Paws Inc. expanded into a grooming and holistic pet supply store, in addition to the pet sitting.

Since 2003, she has been trained by the American Red Cross as well as several veterinarians in Pet First Aid and CPR. In 2011 she was ready to teach her own classes, so she completed an instructor training course and became a certified pet First Aid and CPR instructor. In 2016, when she discovered ProPetHero and how ProTrainings was bringing ER-veterinarian–instructed training to everyone, she knew she had to be a part of "that awesome" and joined the ProTrainings family, creators of ProPetHero.

In her spare time she is a volunteer and foster home for The Boxer Rescue Inc, a health-conscious breeder of Boxers, as well as an active member in both the Middlesex Boxer Club and Wachusett Kennel Club. She has been a mentor to many in the pet industry as well as those in the small business world.

When not working or volunteering, she is traveling to agility, lure coursing, and conformation trials. When not at a trial or finding a good home for a Boxer through the rescue, she can be found training with her pups, hiking with them on trails, or playing in her neglected garden.

DAN HENDRICK

Dan helps develop and implement strategies to assist business administrators with their training challenges. Dan has extensive experience in consultative corporate sales and enjoys golf.

DONNA WILSON

Compliance & Accreditation Manager

As Compliance & Accreditation Manager, Donna ensures that our training solutions meet or exceed specific governmental requirements and keeps us qualified as an accepted provider of health and safety training. In addition, she brings her love for training others full circle as she works with our instructors to assist in finding solutions for building their instructor businesses.

Donna has a wide span of experience in multiple areas, including, business administration, management, marketing, and customer retention for large and small companies. She also ran her own staffing business prior to joining ProTrainings in 2010.

Outside of ProTrainings, Donna enjoys singing in the choir, driving along the beautiful Michigan lakeshore and teaching children karate at her husband’s karate studio. She has five children, six grandchildren, and a couple of sweet little dogs named, Lucy & Laci.

JARED ZIMMER

As part of the Group Solutions Team, Jared supports groups who use our training and consults with prospective administrators to create solutions for their health and safety training needs.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Grand Valley State University in Michigan, Jared joined the ProTrainings team, initially in a Customer Support role.

Outside of work, Jared loves to be at home with his wife and five children. He also enjoys playing ping pong at the office, playing Nintendo games, spending time with old friends, and seeing his extended family for dinner every week.

JASON COURTADE

EMT-P I/C, Education Director

Jason is a licensed paramedic and licensed EMS instructor in Michigan.  He has been working for local EMS agencies since 2005 and also spent 9 years as a firefighter during that time.  He has taught initial EMS courses (Emergency Medical Responder through Paramedic) at the high school, college and adult education levels.  He has been a BLS instructor since 2005, ACLS instructor since 2010 and PALS or similar courses since 2015.   

Jason, his wife and 5 kids and are slowly getting into homesteading as a family.  He also enjoy projects that involve home improvements and repairs, especially when his kids help.

PAUL MARTIN

Paul is an entrepreneur and web designer with a passion for graphic design and building communities with social media. Paul holds a degree in Multimedia and even before graduating from ITT, Paul had great success designing websites and building communities. Paul is the designer/owner of many websites, the most notable being NarniaFans.com, the biggest Narnia movie news website, with over 7,000,000 followers and MatrixFans.net which was ranked in the top seven thousand websites in 2003. Paul loves film and film making and is an avid video editor. Paul ensures the quality of the ProTrainings.com films and website and manages ProCPR's blog and other social media outlets.

ROY SHAW

EMT-P, Lead Instructor, Co-Founder

Roy Shaw developed his passion for saving lives while serving in the military as a combat medic. Roy pursued this dream, graduating from Davenport University as a paramedic in 1992. After Davenport he worked in emergency medical services in Grand Rapids, MI till 2006. During this time Roy worked as an Instructor Trainer and Certified Training Center Manager for AMR Ambulance and eventually went on to start his own training center Pulse Plus of Michigan.

Roy has since co-founded ProCPR which later developed into a multi-training entity, ProTrainings.com. He has authored curricula for Healthcare Provider CPR, Basic CPR and First Aid, ACLS, Bloodborne pathogens and AED use. Roy is the primary trainer in the ProCPR, ProBloodBorne and ProFirstAid videos and provides ongoing quality control for all participants. In addition, Roy oversees the development of ProTrainings.com curricula and ensures that it meets compliance and regulatory standards for workplaces.

SCOTT ANDERSEN

Scott is an entrepreneur and software engineer who is passionate about building companies that leverage technology to solve real problems. Scott built the first iteration of procpr.org during his final semester of undergrad while he was working as a .NET and Sharepoint developer at Meijer, Inc. He has his educational background in Computer Science and Business Administration from Aquinas College and GVSU. Scott is also the co-founder and CTO of MathVids.com, a free math video sharing website aimed at students and teachers. At ProTrainings, Scott oversees all engineering efforts, online marketing, and strategy. In his free time, Scott enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

TYLER ACCARDI

As Director of Marketing, Tyler develops and monitors ProTrainings growth strategies and projects.  

Tyler earned a degree in Marketing and International Business Administration from Marquette University in Wisconsin. Outside of ProTrainings he enjoys swing dancing, Chinese, crossing items off his bucket list, and living life to the fullest.

VICKI HAZZARD

Customer Success Specialist

As part of the Group Solutions Team, Vicki helps administrators and their teams with tailored solutions, proactive support, and personalized guidance to help them get the most value from using ProTrainings for their health and safety training needs.

Vicki graduated from Hyles-Anderson College with a degree in Secondary Education. And prior to joining ProTrainings, she worked in many capacities, including human resources, customer service, and sales.

When not helping customers, Vicki enjoys spending time with her family, being active in her church, and planning adventures to Disney.
